History

George Allen
coached in both the National Football League as well as the USFL (United States Football League). His coaching credentials also included
Morningside College, Whittier College, Los Angeles Rams
(1960's-70's),
Washington Redskins
(1971-77),
Chicago Blitz
(1983),
Arizona Wranglers
(1984) and finally
Long Beach State
(1990). An educated guess is that this Rawlings football originated during Allen's heyday as the Washington Redskins head coach. Outstanding vintage football memorabilia!!

the football is in *Fine Shape* overall, showing only minor usage! Even the football's lacing is in nice shape as well!
