POOLE Pottery " Living Glaze " Art Vase Made in England Cobalt Interior
This is a beautiful example of Poole Pottery in the "Living Glaze" line.
There is no damage, it is in exceptional condition.
Brilliant cobalt interior.  The outside is showing brick red, orange, and black in a creation of Poole's unique glazing technique called "living glaze."  To create this dynamic appearance, the artist/decorator applies different glazes which react with each other during the firing process.
The backstamps are "POOLE POTTERY ENGLAND" around the inside bottom rim, accompanied by an incised dolphin.  There is also a lighter handpainted "M" or "W" in fine black below the dolphin.
The vase stands approximately 8.25" high, with a 3.5" base diameter.  Widest point across is approximately 4 5/8".
Under the light, the orange just pops!  It is a very dynamic vase.
Smokefree, and clean as new.   No cracks, no scratches, no repairs.  Like new.
